I have been working at James English School full-time (More than a year)
You get to experience "teaching" a wide range of ages.
You have total control over a class lesson.
Poor training, if any.
If a student doesn't like your lesson, you get pressure from staff.
Don't get paid for much time spent for the company, despite them requiring you to do it for work.
Don't get paid for travel time, not paid for events, not paid for preparation time.
Contract is sketchy.
Advice to Management
No career opportunities, no benefits, no bonuses.
Your teachers are not cash registers.
I applied online. I interviewed at James English School.
I interviewed over Skype via a video call. It wasn't hard at all.
They hire around October to coax renewing teachers to not leave and work for a competitor.
My advice is to look elsewhere.
