I worked at Jane Norman part-time (Less than a year)
Great manager, not too much pressure to push sales, get to experience a variety of tasks including aspects of visual styling/merchandising, friendly team, good hours
Basic pay, poor quality product that were often returned, lack of progression opportunity
Advice to Management
My manager was fantastic, one of the best managers I have had. Occasionally they were biased with their decisions going for members of staff who were 'friends' over better candidates for not only roles and progression but general tasks delegated to team members
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Jane Norman (London, England (UK)).
Taken in for an interview - extremely unprofessional. She felt more like she was trying to be my friend rather than hiring me for a job. The atmosphere wasn't nice either - I felt like she was intimidating me. The interviewer told me that they had thefts occasionally. I was put off by this. Never was contacted by them for a rejection.
