I have been working at Jaros Baum & Bolles full-time (More than 3 years)
Mentoring, culture, project prestige, people.
If you want to be involved with interesting MEP/FP projects and learn a lot in a short time, JB&B is for you. The Partnership is very accessible and senior engineers spend the time to teach / mentor newer employees. Proven track record with engineering practices and many repeat clients provide a lot of opportunities to learn and network. Tons of really smart, down to earth people. A solid culture of extracurricular activities and team building.
Still somewhat "old school" with rigid upward mobility based on longevity with the firm. If you're used to a 9-5 mentality this may not be the place for you as project needs sometimes dictate longer hours.
Advice to Management
