Pay attention to loyal employees
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Jazz Semiconductor (Irvine, CA) in September 2015.
This is a bottom tier semiconductor company and it shows. When you walk in it is clear they spend no money. So if they don't spend money in the office they will not spend any money on you either. But if you are desperate go for it. You will get over 10 interviewers over a few hours. Bit over the top. All nice enough people.
