Great people who are passionate about their work.
Surrounded by iconic puppets and creatures.
Opportunity to be involved with a truly niche field.

Not a lot of room for advancement. People at the top are never leaving, and people at the middle are clinging on hoping they do. If you're at the bottom, you pray for a firing or leave.

    Advice to Management

Consider the role of your lower-level employees in the growth of the company. If you want to build something greater, you're going to need to invest in new ideas.

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Jim Henson Co. (Burbank, CA) in July 2016.

I applied online and got a phone call to set up an interview. I went in and was interviewed directly by my would-be boss (who was so lovely that I'm still, months later, recovering from not getting this job). Very casual and comfortable experience; you even get to sit in their awesome conference room surrounded by creatures as you're interviewed.
