I worked at Joby Energy as an intern (Less than a year)
Loved the start-up culture. Work environment was very productive. Liked the freedom that company provided while working.
Very much far away from city. No nightlife.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Joby Energy (Santa Cruz, CA) in May 2013.
I was phone interviewed by the Technical mentor at Joby Motors (subsidiary of Joby Energy) for which I was given an interview call for. Most of the stuff he asked was on the resume and I could answer all of those questions satisfactorily. They wanted a person with background in Power Electronics in order to develop DC-DC Converter module for them.
No. It was unpaid internship. (although travel, accommodation and food was paid for)
