This week more than 600 Boston teens started on the job as part of our MLK Summer Scholars program. We are excited to welcome 12 high school student scholars to our John Hancock Boston offices!
From our humble beginnings in 1862 as a four person company formed in a single room, the name John Hancock, one of our nation's forefathers and the inspiration for our company, has long stood for integrity and commitment.
Today, we continue our tradition as a well-established financial services leader by operating as the U.S. unit of Manulife Financial, a leading Canadian-based financial services group serving the financial needs of millions of customers in 22 countries and territories worldwide. Manulife Financial Corporation trades as 'MFC' on the TSX, NYSE and PSE, and under '945' on the SEHK.

I have been working at John Hancock full-time
Culture is awesome. Most of the people I work with are very smart and I haven't had to deal with typical office politics here.
None? Sometimes I have to work more than 40 hours per week, but that's pretty rare.
Advice to Management
Keep it up.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at John Hancock (Boston, MA) in August 2017.
They asked about my experience, and spent most of their time explaining the project I would be on. They asked about my resume and asked me to explain it more in depth.
