    I worked at John Paul Mitchell full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Positive, fun work environment. Fun to work with students. Everybody cares for each other. Good for people early in their professional careers. Travel for trainings.

    Cons

    Low pay compared to most post-secondary schools. 2-3 weeks "summer/winter break" with no pay. No company contribution to 401k or health care. No maternity leave or short-term disability.

    I applied online and got called in for an interview about a month after submitting my resume and was first interviewed in front of the school board (about 6 people) then I got another call asking me to come back and shadow for about 3 hours and was offered a position while there shadowing
