I have been working at Johnson Matthey full-time (More than a year)
Training is required on the job.
Process is very intuitive and easy to pick up.
Lots of potential careers to branch off into.
Excellent starting salary, with a 5% raise each year.
Due to restructuring a my facility the job options have become limited.
Technical fields are slim to none.
The company dictates what they want out of you, rather then where you want to go.
overtime is mandatory, your job becomes your hobby.
Advice to Management
Process control engineer's come and go due to overwork and under appreciation from management.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Johnson Matthey.
Usual process. HR Screen followed by 2 levels of interviews with Sr Manager and Director. The interviewers were not familiar with the daily operational requirements for the role. Questions were based on their reading up ion what the typical role manager should be doing. Had to not only elaborate but also educate them on the answers.
