I have been working at KB Home full-time (Less than a year)
Training is AMAZING. Management is supportive and has integrity. We make a LOT of money. We have amazing company parties. Sometimes these parties even include huge expensive cash prizes for the sales reps based on their performance. Sales reps can sleep in because offices open at 10am and 11am everyday. Some days are super busy, which nicely fly by. Other days are super quiet, and we use those days to get all our admin work done, meaning we have good balance so we don't get stressed out.
Health benefits aren't great. Sales reps are required to work every Saturday and Sunday, meaning you're unable to spend time with your family on the weekends.
Advice to Management
When sales results are low, micromanaging doesn't help. Instead, create a process for improvement by restructuring the sales process in the region itself. Micromanaging simply interrupts our workflow.
I applied online. I interviewed at KB Home (San Antonio, TX) in June 2017.
Recruitier called, asked a few question, then schedules Personality Test. If you pass, you get a phone interview. If you pass that, then a panel interview(mine was 5 men)
