I worked at KOBELCO full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

My compensation was good. Pay is really based on performance and experience. Whoever contributing more gets paid more and promoted quickly

    Cons

people who joined after M&A in 2010 tend to be talented. People who've been working for more than 10 yrs seem incapable for many duties but getting promotion due to seniority

    Advice to Management

Half of management memebers in project engineering is too weak. Most of them are those who have been working there for too long.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 8+ weeks. I interviewed at KOBELCO (Corona, CA) in January 2016.

    Interview

Got a call from human resources and I got a brief questionnaire then was scheduled for a face to face interview. The interview went well, at least that how it was portrayed.

This was at the end of January. It is now March and they keep telling, "we haven't decided yet, we will let you know". Why can't they just say, you are not the right candidate for us, instead of just telling me to wait.
