I have been working at KRT Marketing full-time (Less than a year)
There are plenty of projects to be working on, Leadership is supportive of endeavors outside normal day to day tasks and encourage problem solving. I feel like my contributions mean something. I've had friends and family visit the company and have complimented on how nice everyone is. We have plenty of snacks. We have workout every two weeks. We also have live streams and dashboards up on all the tvs. There's constant learning on all fronts with formal and informal training. They've integrated slack as well, which is a huge plus. The unlimited PTO and 401K options are a great as well. We're also 2 blocks away from Trader Joe's and Diablo Foods.
Hours can be a bit long sometimes, depending on the type of project. However, its never overwhelming. There is never "one" task and a lot of times things can "pop" up. Time management is critical.
Advice to Management
They're doing a lot of things right. My advice would be to continue being receptive to feedback and ideas. KRT is definitely unique because the culture fits the people that work here and I'm sure it'll continue to evolve as we continue to grow.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KRT Marketing (Lafayette, CA) in February 2015.
They first had me do a phone interview. Then invited me in for an in person interview. Then they had me do an assignment and come in and present it.
