    I worked at Kaycan (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Very good health care program. Flat organization. Employees have (stated) access to management all the way up to the president and CFO. Great company culture for Canadian employees where they have good market share (it's a Canadian company). Not as good for US employees.

    Cons

    Lack of product innovation and marketing programs. Actual customers not aligned with desired customers. No long term strategic plan. Lots of turnover so employees and customers are constantly getting to know new players. Big achievements expected in a short amount of time. Sales management and marketing inadequately staffed. Poor marketing support.

    Advice to Management

    Aim to reduce turnover and slow down expectations. Deliver your strategic message from the top directly to the employees. Give them the vision, not just the sales budgets/expectations.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kaycan (Montreal, QC (Canada)).

    Interview

    No structure, one on one approach. This may lead to bad hires ? You be low balled on salary offer. Informations about bonus plan will be kept vague. Good humor in general make sure you ask question and make right down answers obtainned. But do not be to pushy as sales managment feel treaten by queries.They will be usefull to nourish your position when comes time to clarify certain bound to happen situations if you decide to move along with them.
