I worked at Kendall College (More than a year)
Kendall has some great people, awesome students and unique perks, like 3 delicious meals a day made by our students for a minimal monthly cost (like, really cheap!). Theres also a great parking perk and tuition reduction rates. Although not many dev opportunities were presented to all staff, I was involved in many and they were quite useful. Theres been improvement, though.
Although my compensation was to market, I felt the annual merit increases could have been meatier. Kendall is owned by Laureate, which causes barriers in terms of financial freedom.
Advice to Management
Work with your teams and colleagues to be more collaborative! There are a lot of initiatives being done in silos; it would be a better use of time to cross-collaborate. Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE provide continuous and formal feedback.
