Mission: Our vision is to be the premier, integrated, comprehensive health system in the Commonwealth providing high-quality care close to home—reducing the incidence of disease and eliminating inequities in access.
The Jewish Hospital Trager Transplant Center and the University of Louisville are celebrating a wonderful milestone - the 300th lung transplant performed at the hospital since the lung transplant program began there 27 years ago. Today, physicians, employees and patients came together to celebrate this significant milestone and the 300 lives saved thanks to organ transplantation! http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQrtl
On May 11, select hospitals were recognized with KHA Quality Awards at the 89th annual KHA Convention in Lexington, including Continuing Care Hospital, part of KentuckyOne Health. The KHA Quality Awards honor hospital leadership and innovation in quality, safety and commitment to patient care.
KentuckyOne Health, the largest and most comprehensive health system in the Commonwealth, has more than 200 locations including hospitals, physician groups, clinics, primary care centers, specialty institutes and home health agencies in Kentucky and southern Indiana. KentuckyOne Health is dedicated to bringing wellness, healing and hope to all, including the underserved. The system is made up of the former Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare and Saint Joseph Health System, along with the University of Louisville Hospital and James Graham Brown Cancer Center. KentuckyOne Health is proud of and strengthened by its Catholic, Jewish and academic heritages.
There has never been an organization quite like ours, so how do we come up with a mission statement that works for KentuckyOne Health? It took hours of conversation and thought on the part of leaders and employees across the system. The result was recently adopted by the KentuckyOne board of directors. We call it the KentuckyOne Purpose & Values, a guide for our work that is uniquely our own.
We are a comprehensive health system strengthened by our Catholic, Jewish and academic heritages and inspired by our shared values.
To bring wellness, healing and hope to all, including the underserved.
To transform the health care communities, care delivery and health care professions so that individuals and families can enjoy the best of health and wellbeing.
Respecting those we serve and those who serve
Doing the right things in the right way for the right reason
Sharing in others’ joys and sorrows
Living up to the highest standards

I worked at KentuckyOne Health full-time
Great leadership, people, benefits with lowest premiums I have ever had. Good work environment with opportunity to grow. Not perfect, but close. I fully recommend working at KentuckyOne Health.
Every job I have been in has had issues, I can't find anything to complain about at Jewish Hospital.
Advice to Management
Keep communicating with employees, we believe in you!
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at KentuckyOne Health (Louisville, KY) in January 2014.
Interesting for me since I was there back in the time when it was 2014 which was a different time for me. I felt that it was a typical interview which brings interview type feelings in the process of meeting new people who are interviewing you.
