I worked at Kildare's Irish Pub part-time (More than a year)
My managers really worked with me on my schedule and availability. There was opportunity for growth within that branch, the chain in general, and the corporation.
It was trying to be too many things at once. We were a family restaurant during the evening and then it transformed into a college bar scene that bordered on disgusting.
Advice to Management
Try to create a more cohesive business plan that doesn't involve drunk college students mixing with townies that want "traditional Irish cuisine."
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kildare's Irish Pub (Scranton, PA) in April 2012.
When entering the pub. I was past off to three different managers. Very chill most of them were but, the GM was very quick in asking questions and answering them as well. Make sure you are a fast talker and say all the right things! The room we were in had no AC and the temperature was 90 outside and 100 in the room. The office was small so very interacting! The whole process was quick and painful.
