KinderCare Education is setting the standard for early childhood education.

We lead the nation in accreditation, we're recognized as a Gallup great place to work, and we care for 161,000 children every day. Teachers are the heart of our work and we support them with world-class curriculum and training, opportunities for professional growth, and benefits that really matter.

Join a team that builds brighter futures for children and teachers—and love what you do.

We Love What We Do! KinderCare Education Wins the 2017 Gallup Great Workplace Award

This year, KinderCare Education earned the coveted Gallup Great Workplace Award—and the honor truly belongs to our employees.

From lead teachers to field leaders, from project managers to procurement specialists, our people are emotionally connected with each other and the work that they do. Together, we're building an organization that we all love being a part of—one provides a world class education to children and families.

Join our amazing team and love what you do, too!

We're Raising the Standard in Early Childhood Education

Nationally, only 10% of early childhood education centers are accredited—nearly 100% of ours are. Why are we so committed? Because it’s the right thing to do for children. Accreditation means that every one of our 1,343 accredited centers has met rigorous standards of excellence, education, and care.

The Result? KinderCare Kids Are Ready for School

Our accredited centers, world-class curriculum, and talented teachers give children the strongest start imaginable. Research shows that by the 7th month of Kindergarten, KinderCare kids test at first-grade levels in both math and reading. In March of 2016, our kindergarteners’ reading skills were three months ahead of national norms—and they were about five months ahead in math. Simply put, we prepare kids for school success in kindergarten and for years to come.

What Makes a Teacher Great? The Art and Science of Hiring Top Teachers

Teachers are the heart of our business—that's why we look for the most talented people to care for and educate the children in our classrooms. How do we find them? We learned from our very best teachers what makes them great—and now we hire for those qualities.

A truly great teacher has a natural talent: Do you have passion, patience, a love for children... and their families, too?

Become a teacher—and love what you do.

Find Your Opportunity

At KinderCare, we believe that talent is as important as experience: We're looking for warm, curious people who exude positivity and see the potential in others and in themselves. Interested in joining us? We’re building careers in early childhood education—find a team near you!

I have been working at KinderCare Education full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company is Amazing! There are so many different benefits to working for the organization. It feels like being a family. Everyone wants to help each other be successful. So many great people that work for the company that want to grow together as a leader.

    Cons

The insurance benefits are great to add children but can be very pricey to add a spouse. Higher management looking into that.

    Advice to Management

Do what you are doing because you make it a great environment for your employees.

    Positive Experience

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at KinderCare Education (New York, NY) in January 2018.

    Interview

I was greeted warmly by the Assistant Director and waited about 5 minutes before the Center Director came out to meet me. I followed her into her office and we had some small talk and she asked a few questions, took me on a tour of the facility (all the teachers were very nice), we shook hands and she said i should hear from her soon. All in all it only took about 30 min.

    Interview Questions

    • talk about a time when you had to deal with a difficult parent or customer.   Answer Question
    • how would I communicate with the parents and how often?   Answer Question
