Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kindred Group (Sliema) in Jun 2023

      Interview

I applied for the KYC Analyst role and was invited to interview at their offices within a few days. The interviewers were very friendly and welcoming and I felt that the interview went well. Less than a week later, another internal recruiter invites me to interview again for a different role within the company (AML and RG Analyst) without actually giving me any feedback on the first interview. I attended the interview and I felt like it did not go as well as the first one, although the interviewers were friendly throughout. Over 3 weeks pass from the first interview (and around 2 weeks from the second one) so I reach out to the recruiter to ask for feedback on both roles (I was promised feedback within this time after both interviews). I don't even receive a courtesy email back. Then, over 6 weeks passed and I see them advertise the same vacancy which I originally applied for again. I reach out again to ask for feedback, and still nothing. Although I appreciate that I was made to feel welcome while interviewing, I do not believe that ghosting candidates like this is acceptable.
