I have been working at King County full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

King County has progressive, smart leadership. The Prosecuting Attorney's office is staffed by talented lawyers and support staff committed to doing Justice. Lawyers are given significant responsibility early in their careers and the freedom to apply their talents to the cases they are assigned.

    Cons

The County often moves slowly even when leadership sets its sights on a goal. This is inherent in the checks and balances of government and the political oversight by elected officials.

    Advice to Management

Be more nimble. Engage a broader spectrum of employees in the drive to succeed on our core missions.

    Interview

Strange group interview for a temporary on call position. There was a typing and data entry test. Hard to come up with 30 whole words for the process. Had to match the spelling of names within a time limit.
