I worked at King County full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Temporary work but great pay. I seen quite a few temporary workers get hired onto other departments while workings as a temp. Great people to work with.

    Cons

You have so much fun working there it is so sad when the temporary work ends.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. It is very impressive how well organized the election department is. Of all the companies I have worked for, King County Elections is the most organized, professional and the the staff is awesome.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at King County (Seattle, WA) in February 2017.

    Interview

Fairly straightforward, I applied online and was contacted the week of the interview to interview that Friday. A writing assignment and a powerpoint presentation on a real issue affecting this role.
Three people interviewed me, a lot of the time you get the feeling in county and city roles that a person has already been chosen prior to the interview -- this was no exception.
