    Neutral Outlook

I worked at King's Daughters full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Everyone works as a team to get the job done. The facility is beautiful. The patient rooms are one patient only to a room. Good first job for new nurses.

    Cons

They make you flex from dayshift to night shift depending on the needs of the floor and there is no getting out of it. Everyone is hired flex now. No raises for the last 3 years and multiple layoffs make for low morale and the feeling of poor job security.

    Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at King's Daughters (Barboursville, WV) in April 2015.

    Interview

I was there for 4 hours, going thru filling out paper work, testing on the computer. The testing on the computer was so many questions and math to fill out. Afterwards I had a one on one interview with one of the managers of the company.

    Interview Questions

    • They were a collection company for bad debts and asked how I would handle unhappy customers.   Answer Question

    Reasons for Declining

Because it was an hour's drive away from where I lived; the pay was $8.50 per hour. Also I wasn't looking forward to dealing with rude people on the phone.
