I have been working at KingsIsle Entertainment full-time

    Pros

Nice relax environment. Everyone seems very friendly. A great place to make friends with co-workers. Core hours are 10-5, so you set up your working schedule.

    Cons

Not a lot of organization or follow up on projects until crunch time. There has been a lot of people leaving the company lately.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at KingsIsle Entertainment (Austin, TX) in April 2008.

    Interview

They called me on the phone and interviewed me. It was a rather short interview - probably less than 5 minutes in total length. The questions in the interview were basic questions seeing if I would be able to do the job and if I wanted to do the job. They called later with an offer. That offer was too low. I did not accept. They called again later with a higher offer, which I accepted.

    Interview Questions

    • I don't remember any of the questions, to be honest. None of them were very hard though. I was just honest, and I was excited to work on an MMORPG. So that probably came through in my interview.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

I didn't accept the first offer. It was lower than what I got paid to be a personal banker. The second offer was 33.33% higher than the first, and I accepted it.
