Advice to Management
Growing company, lots of upside potential, management cares about employees, very family oriented business.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kinsley Power Systems (Hartford, CT).
The process is overkill and impersonal with high expectations for a lower paying position. It's a 3-4 wk process broken into stages, starting with the online initial application, next an email asking a series of questions , then an initial phone interview, where they are going to ask about salary expectations and they want 5 references from direct managers with phone numbers; if you get past that there is the onsite interview, where you refill in the paper application again in person and sign a number of releases for background checks, financial/credit rating checks, social media checks and provide your social security number; then you meet face to face and go over work history and answer a bunch more questions, at the end they surprise you with a timed IQ test and then they say they'll get back in touch with you through their HR recruiter.
