Great product which keeps on trend, some fantastic people, potential for a meaningful team experience. Good program for learning selling techniques. With a competent manager at the helm, this can be a pleasant, fun and motivating job.
Lots of politics in play. Employees get positions of responsibility based on who they know and not on their ability to do the job competently. This results in management by lazy employees with a weak work ethic. This has a detrimental effect on the team, who need focused, motivating leadership. Unequal division of labor among associates.
Advice to Management
Need for managers to have some formal training in managing a team of people effectively. Need for more defined areas of responsibility for the management positions. Some worked extremely hard, others leaned against the cash wrap counter most of the time!
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Kipling (Livermore, CA) in November 2016.
Applied online, was called the next day for an interview.the overall process was pretty straight forward and easy. I would recommend doing some basic research about the company before your interview. The interview process is easy, just be yourself and you should do fine.
