    Pros

Transparent Leadership with a focus on Employee First. The organization understands that it all starts with its employees. They drive the product and service to the consumer. Doing what is right. This is at the core of our decision making process. As a deployed workforce with employees in several states we do a great job of "staying connected", which is not always easy when you are not in an office environment.

    Cons

Nothing that is a negative at this time.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Knock (Remote, OR) in January 2020.

    Interview

First met with HR for screening, then spoke with a senior dev on the team, and lastly did a code challenge.

Knock seems like a friendly company with a strong values, and for the most part is great at communicating, they were quick to respond to questions via email, and were overly friendly, But things took a turn....

During the entire process I would receive emails with in hours, when I had questions. They even gave me the contact information for the team lead to talk to. After they received the coding challenge they completely cut off all communication. No feedback, just the canned "We decided to pursue other applicants...."

I emailed, HR and the team members I had already spoken with many times.... Never heard a response. I don't find this action to be in alignment with their stated company culture.
