I worked at Knowledge Networks (More than a year)
Knowledge Networks (acquired by GfK in 2012) was mid-size at the time of acquisition, about 140 people. In general, the quality of staff was strong with good teamwork.
Most of the managers tried to strike a respectable work-life balance.
Get to learn new things.
Tight budgets meant pay increases were below normal for SF Bay Area or NYC area.
A few acquisitions that never seemed to make sense or fit into the broader business.
Advice to Management
Management steadily improved over my years with the company. No major recommendations. The acquisition by GfK had to happen, but did destroy the good family atmosphere that KN had developed.
