Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

    I applied online. I interviewed at Kobie Marketing (United States)

    Interview

    HR interview and then four rounds. Three of them with your hiring manager and one with the hiring manager plus senior management.
    HR interview is easy. Usual questions like why Kobie, professional goals etc.
    Interviews with your manager- you will feel that he does not even listen to you. He'd look somewhere else when you're talking and then will criticize you for your answer! Yes, even in an interview. You'll have this three times. i don't know what they're checking!
    They might give you a task to complete, a sample of the work you'll potentially do. You will present that in the final one. Final one is with senior management. Again you'll be criticized by your hiring manager. And appreciated by the senior management.
