Kobrand Wine and Spirits – Why Work With Us?

Kobrand imports and markets a distinguished portfolio of hand selected brands representing virtually every major wine region of the world and its most iconic specialty spirits. Family owned since its founding in 1944, Kobrand attributes its success to a single guiding principle that describes the people, products and relationships behind it: quality.

The portfolio is a collection of gems of New World and Old, including American wineries such as Cakebread Cellars, Sequoia Grove and St. Francis as well as the wines of European masters such as Champagne Taittinger and Maison Louis Jadot and the Portos of Taylor Fladgate, Fonseca and Croft. The legendary Sassicaia from Italy’s Tenuta San Guido and the wines of Craggy Range in New Zealand are relatively new additions that will stand the test of time. The spirits portfolio includes the original Alizé liqueurs as well as fine Cognacs, Armagnacs and other premium spirits.

From Our President

In the 1930s our founder Rudy Kopf cultivated groundbreaking relationships with many of the world’s leading producers. He eventually started Kobrand in 1944, bringing to the American market some of the world’s highest-quality, most sought-after wines and spirits. Today, the American wine lover is more knowledgeable than ever, making it even more important that Kobrand manage our portfolio by Kopf’s founding principles, whereby all selections come into the portfolio only after passing the rigorous standards that were developed from our incomparable commitment to quality.

Kobrand’s portfolio includes representation in virtually every major fine wine region and spirit category from the prime production areas of the world, encompassing distinguished classics from the Old World as well as exciting New World expressions. Assembling a portfolio like this does not happen by chance; rather, it is honed over the course of decades with skill and experience. We pride ourselves on sifting through trends to find gems of impeccable quality and value that are relevant to the American wine consumer and bring them to market in an efficient and reliable manner.

Quality — of product, people, and relationships — remains our guiding principle.

Enjoy this exciting journey through our hand-selected choices. We hope our selections will tempt you with new ideas, satisfy you with enduring classics and help you confidently select the perfect wines and spirits for your needs.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Kobrand Wine and Spirits in February 2013.

    Interview

Contacted by HR assistant, then interviewed with Brand Manager first. They contacted me for a second interview the next day with two other senior level people in marketing and an HR person, then heard nothing, was told they were in the process of decided then told the position was being put on hold. Personally, I think there were other reasons.
