Tom Hogan - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Thomas E. Hogan has been at the forefront of innovation in the enterprise software market for more than three decades. Before joining Kony, Tom served as executive vice president of Software at HP, with responsibility for all software functions, including sales, marketing, engineering, product development, operations and technical support. Prior to joining HP, Tom served as the president and chief executive officer of Vignette, a publicly held software company specializing in enterprise content management. He also held key leadership roles at Siebel Software, where he helped quadrupled total revenues as senior vice president of global sales and operations, and IBM, where he started his career and held a variety of executive posts.

Tom holds a master’s degree in management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, graduating with distinction with concentrations in finance, international business and organizational behavior. He also holds a bachelor of science in biomedical engineering from the University of Illinois.

Todd Riesterer - Chief Human Resources Officer

Todd brings to Kony his extensive experience with global high-tech companies during periods of major hyper-growth, including scaling a business from $15 million to $500 million. Most recently, Todd served as Senior Vice President of HR at where he was instrumental in doubling the employee base to support the company’s fast growth, while also driving new HR innovation to deliver maximum strategic business impact.

Prior to leading HR for, Todd drove international human resource growth strategies for VMware’s Global Customer and Business Operations organizations, which included more than 9,000 employees.

Todd also previously led successful global HR programs at McAfee, Business Objects and Cadence Design Systems.

Cem Tanyel - Executive Vice President of Global Services

Cem Tanyel is responsible for all Kony services business globally. His mission is to provide world class services and delivery to Kony customers by driving the growth, transformation, integration and expansion of Kony’s services organization and offerings across the globe.

Tanyel’s expertise is in the areas of digital technologies, mobile platforms, enterprise software, global delivery, large scale/mission-critical/ high performance systems for healthcare organizations, financial services, public sector, telecommunication and travel around the world.

Prior to Kony, Tanyel led the consulting and multi-service delivery for TriZetto Corporation, a Cognizant subsidiary. Prior to TriZetto, Tanyel was the VP and GM for the Healthcare and Life Sciences Software and Solutions business for CSC with 4000 customers and in excess of $500M of revenues around the world. Mr. Tanyel also had senior leadership roles at McKesson, Unisys, and Informix Software (now part of IBM). 

Mr. Tanyel has an M. Sc. in Computer Science from University of Maryland, an M.B.A. from San Jose State University in California and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey.

Bill Bodin - Chief Technology Officer
Bill Bodin is Kony’s Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Bodin is responsible for fortifying Kony’s innovation leadership in the enterprise mobility market, and shaping Kony’s technology vision. He chairs the company’s architect council, leads the technology evangelism efforts and also works with Kony’s growing base of global enterprise customers to achieve business outcomes through mobile innovation.

Bodin brings more than 30 years of technology industry experience to Kony. Most recently, he served as chief technology officer for IBM’s Mobile Computing CIO group. He was both a Distinguished Engineer and a recognized Master Inventor at IBM, and holds numerous patents in domains including Mobile Computing, Operating Systems, Media, Telematics, Consumer Electronics and Healthcare.

Prior to joining Kony, Bodin founded IBM’s Pervasive Computing Lab which was the center for mobile innovation. Bodin is also the creator and thought leader for IBM Catalyst, the mobile development accelerator framework (CIO100 2015 award winner) and IBM’s first mobile app store, Whirlwind (CIO100 2011 award winner). He also represented the CIO organization in the Center for Innovation Leadership (CIL), championing innovation and invention in the IBM Corporation.

Bodin holds a Graduate Degree in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon & Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia.

Wayne McCulloch - Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer

Wayne joins Kony from where he served as the Senior Vice President of Salesforce University. Wayne built the global team responsible for building, selling, deploying and supporting enablement programs and strategies for worldwide. 

During his successful customer centric career, Wayne has served in a variety of leadership positions across worldwide organizations within the high tech industry including HP, Lombardi (IBM), and Vignette (OpenText) and has received several industry awards for innovation and thought leadership.

Wayne holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from Swinburne University (Melbourne, Australia).

Jessica Howard

Jessica Howard - Co-Executive Director of Mobilizing Causes

Jessica carries dual leadership roles here at Kony. She, along with Usha Iyer, lead our Global Mobilizing Causes initiative, which is a core part of our culture. Giving is a fundamental belief of every Mobilizer, and through our philanthropic activities we humbly serve our neighboring communities around the globe.

Usha Iyer - Co-Executive Director of Mobilizing Causes

Usha carries dual senior leadership roles for Kony.  She, along with Xina Seaton, lead our global Mobilizing Causes initiative, a core part of our culture encompassing a multitude of philanthropic activities.  Giving is a cornerstone value at Kony, and we take great effort to thoughtfully serve our neighboring communities and people. Usha also serves as our Vice President of Products.

  • Mobilizers Engagement:  At Kony, we know our Mobilizers are the foundation of our success. That’s why we believe in the power of engaging our Mobilizers at every level to build a strong, thriving company. Through our annual Mobilizer Engagement Survey, we have obtained valuable insight; based on Mobilizer feedback, we have implemented several key actions to make Kony a great place work.
  • Communication:  Kony’s leadership team is passionate about keeping our Mobilizers informed about what’s happening within the business. We foster ongoing communication and two-way dialogue through multiple channels such as our company-wide Quarterly All Hands, Business Function town hall meetings, and small, informal group sessions sponsored by our Executive Leadership team.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Kony (Foster City, CA) in January 2013.


    I interviewed with three people and sat with them each individually for about 20 minutes. Everyone was really nice and friendly. They offered me water and started asking about my background and where I saw myself in the future. After the interview was over, they called me a few days letting me know I got the job.
