I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kranze Technology Solutions in August 2016.
Recruiter reached out to me and asked to talk with me about opportunities at the company. I responded positively, and was given an opportunity to schedule a phone interview. The interview was about half an hour long and was a mix of technical questions and HR questions. After passing the phone interview, I was emailed instructions for a technical challenge. The technical challenge was a small Android networking app. After reviewing the code with a current employee and waiting another week, I was informed there would be no further interviews.

KTS finished its second annual 10 week college collaboration experience enabling freshmen engineering teams at Northwestern to solve complex problems. KTS employees engaged with 5 - 4 person student design teams for Northwestern's spring quarter to tackle unique challenges in the workplace. These projects exposed Northwestern students to industry, provided them opportunities to work on real world problems where solutions make an immediate difference, and provided KTS employees exposure to new, innovative concepts to stay fresh and current in development of our future systems.
KTS will be expanding to other local colleges over the next year and hosting additional local area high schoolers for micro-internships over the summer timeframe. Be on the look out for continued interactions and project opportunities.
