I have been working at Kulicke and Soffa full-time (More than a year)
-Some very bright minds work here, excellent managers, easy going environment
-Huge engineering learning experience for new grads and some very intense R&D work going on atleast in mechanical engineering domain (that's where I work in).
-Flexible work timings, nice perks, good amount of leaves and benefits
-With ever growing technology in Semiconductors, there seems no stopping for this company/domain in my point of view
-Lastly, people dont leave this company so often!!
-No major drawbacks as seen in my career of over a year
-A little shortage of resources; a little hiring would be helpful in order to reduce workload
-Training for incoming graduates needed; but OJT is also not a bad option
Advice to Management
-Pay can be upscaled a bit
-Maintain the tempo and pace by which its growing
I applied online. I interviewed at Kulicke and Soffa.
Interviewer came across as condescending and disrespectful. He kept treating me like I was stupid when I attempted to answer his questions about programming. When I asked him a question, he raised his voice in a mocking tone "Well it's obvious you don't know anything about programming".
In all my interviews so far, this interviewer was definitely one of the most disrespectful ones I've had. Nearly all the other interviewers would at least politely ask me to clarify if they didn't understand my explanation, or patiently explain how I got a question wrong.
