Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Great company to learn and grow. All innovations and good ideas are welcomed. You will be given a freedom to have your own decisions. Professional staff and great env to work at.

Cons

Business analysts are given too much play and bully devs. Rude and disrespectful. No professional development budget. Big pressure on deadlines. People are burning out.

    I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kunz, Leigh & Associates (Detroit, MI) in Jan 2022

    Interview

    1st round is a 30 minute phone call with recruiter. Second is an hour call with recruiter and software engineer. Third round is a 3 hour interview where you're coding in a small star wars project they've built. Pretty easy tasks to complete. They do a Q & A afterwards.
