I worked at Kycon Cable & Connector full-time
Small teams, thoughts get heard, can talk to upper management about suggests. Stable job, interesting chances to target new markets. Competent engineering team to for guidance and work.
Established company, has their niche market, rarely takes risks, salary still requires clocking in and out, and lotus notes. Back and forth conversations with China can take forever to finish.
I applied through other source. The process took 8+ months. I interviewed at Kycon Cable & Connector (San Jose, CA) in November 2011.
Submitted resume via email after hearing about the opening via another business associate. Went through a couple of emails back and forth with NSM, and she said she would keep it on file. After about 6 months I was contacted and asked if I could come in for an interview the next day.
Interview process involved speaking with the National Sales Manager as well as the General Manager, and if you pass these interviews, the owner of the company on the same day. Salary level is lower than Industry pay, however, the work environment is nice and professional.
