    I worked at López Negrete full-time (More than 3 years)


    I enjoyed the brainstorms, the collaboration, the debates and disagreements, but no matter what at the end of the day, we were able create great (award-winning) campaigns.

    There are very committed employees within a friendly and collaborative environment. This great environment push you to be the best you can be.

    The Strategic Plannint Unit (business analytics and planning) is world-class. It provides great insight that are leveraged across all clients. Also, digital/development team is very proactive, innovative and problem-solving as well as very well integrated with the other departments.

    It also very active in employee-oriented activities, from company parties (Halloween, Christmas, Cinco de Mayo, etc) to community service (APOD, Food Bank)

    Alex Lopez Negrete has a great vision for the company as well as he is very strategic on helping client's to address the new realities of the Hispanic market


    Need to have more discipline on running annual reviews and determine goals

    Training budget approval/refusal takes time ending in uncertainty and higher cost to the company (missing registration deadlines)

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at López Negrete (Houston, TX).


    I was referred by a former coworker with the first interview consisting of a peer-to-peer interview over lunch. The next interview consisted of a one-on-one with the PR Director. I bought an extensive portfolio to which she asked to keep for a week to review. The director meeting was short and to the point. I was then introduced to the team I would be working with before I exited. All in all it was a typical interview and I do believe the peer was sent to ensure I was a viable candidate before the Director interview me.
