    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at LBB & Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Friendly staff and management. Fewer hours worked than a large firm. Good place to start a career, you will learn a lot. Company's business is growing and is acquiring new clients.

    Cons

Small firm has limited opportunity to advance. You can make it to partner but it takes much longer than normal.

    Advice to Management

The business needs to focus on hiring a larger pool of college graduates and a few more managers.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took a week. I interviewed at LBB & Associates (Houston, TX) in December 2011.

    Interview

Two interviews. First interview was a group meet the firm and ask general questions about the firm. Food was served and the company allowed all the potential hires to mingle with the current staff and see the office. Second interview was traditional one on one Q&A session. At the end there was a small test to foot the financial statement of a faux client. The test was reviewed after letting you know what items to look for and note when footing financials.
