I have been working at LEAP Legal Software full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

LEAP has a great cooperative environment which is exactly what I was looking for when deciding on a career move. The company as a whole has quarterly goals and each individual and group have goals which contribute to the success of the company as a whole. The culture at LEAP is generally a healthy, happy one. There is opportunity for advancement and mobility within the company as well. Great benefits and perks as well.

    Cons

So far I have no cons regarding LEAP. It is a growing company with a lot of moving parts, so if you don't thrive in that type of environment, it may not be for you.

    Sales Development Representative Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY

    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at LEAP Legal Software (New York, NY) in November 2017.

    Interview

First and foremost, I got denied the interview right off the bat because I didn't have enough sales experience although I did have the experience with law school. I called the sales manager and he liked my tenacity to not take no for an answer and gave me a Skype interview (I was living in SF). I flew out to NY from SF on my own dime and although I didn't get the job I appreciate LEAP for the experience. The last part of the interview was an in person agenda with you and the other candidates. The process took a full work day (9-5) and included three separate practice cold call scenarios, a practice email to a prospective client and a practice voicemail to a prospective client. The cold call scenarios got harder and harder as they progressed to see how you handled different situations. The interview definitely weeds out people who are 100% dedicated to working at LEAP. I plan on improving my cold calling skills so I can one day become a LEAPster. Everyone I met there was extremely cool and the office is in the World Trade Center which is awesome. I know I will work here one day.
