I worked at LIN Media full-time (More than 3 years)

My co-workers were wonderful, a great group to work with. High energy workplace with something always happening.

The wages were very low for the Austin area, unless you were one of the managers.

    Advice to Management

Utilize the talent from within and match the wages to their abilities.

    Difficult Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LIN Media in July 2014.

The interview process for Lin Media is very aggressive and in depth. There is a phone interview and then 2-3 in person interviews. Doing your homework on the company and the position you are applying for is a must. You want to make sure that you have questions to ask at the end of your interview as well as be prepared to answer some difficult interview questions yourself. Some questions I have never been asked before and was surprised by the question. None of which were inappropriate, just questions that truly get into the meat of who you are and if you are the right person for the job.
