I worked at LS9 full-time (More than a year)
LS9 offered great opportunities to learn new techniques and work in state of the art technology, if you are looking to gain as much experience and develop your skills, it was a good place to be. The company had some great people who were awesome to work with and also make your new best friends. Had a good time off policy and the pay scale was very competitive.
Had the drawbacks of a bay area start up which had a pretty ambitious business plan in a relatively short time frame. Although the technology was great and one-of-a-kind, often felt that it was without vision.
Advice to Management
Have to consider a more realistically achievable target and have a contingency plan in place. Cannot put all your eggs in one basket. Needed to improve and strengthen the product pipeline.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at LS9.
Presentation of my grad work to R&D team followed by individual interviews with 6 team members. Toughest interview questions came from VP of R&D and direct boss. HR was a breeze.
