Company vehicle, good insurance, outside sales (not sitting in an office), 401K plan, some compenstion for cell phone
Very inexpereinced upper mangement for the OTP category. People hired based on who they know rather than what they know. Needs a good work plan, but more so, needs to start by learning what a work plan is. No productive direction. Totally different from the industry norm.
Advice to Management
Place knowledable people with OTP experience in positions to give all reps direction. Winging it isn't getting it as I'm sure STG is discovering.
I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Lane Limited (Tucker, GA) in June 2011.
Initial phone interview, purpose for screening applicants on-line and their qualifications. Secondly chosen for interview and flown to Atlanta for group orientation. One on one brief interview with two different Region Managers(newly hired), reviewing resume and experience. Catered lunch and group meeting with National Sales Manager. Tour of facility and manufacturing with President of Lane. Flown back to original airport. No communication as to whether or not you were hired.
