I worked at Lang-Mekra North America full-time (More than 3 years)
Get your job done and this place will be fine. For someone who is looking to not really work but wants to socialize, it may not be the best
Lot of people come and go - it has a lot of revolving doors, and a little oriented to manufacturing. It has changed now i guess - not sure how it works now
Advice to Management
Try to retain talent or the experience by providing more incentive. Also can reduce much of a strict time schedule for engineering and research as it is not very time dependent
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lang-Mekra North America in February 2012.
Several rounds of interviews with the CEO and other staff members. I was told by HR they were extremely happy and wanted to make an offer. A week later I received an email asking if I could interview with someone new they just hired, who was taking over operations. Interviewer was unprepared, didn't ask any questions, some of the time was dead silence, while he thought of questions to ask, very unprofessional. I later discovered a Facebook page entitled " I survived Lang Mekra" apparently this place has a high turnover rate for professionals, either way the last interview made it clear that this was not a place I'd like to work.
I never heard from anyone after the call, so I guess the feeling was mutual.
