    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Lavine, Lofgren, Morris & Engelberg full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Variety of clients, experience gained, future prospects. In general, the people at the firm are very nice to work with.

    Cons

The hours are long and there are different expectations of different people in the company. Work is often loaded onto top performers, creating different experiences.

    Advice to Management

Although easier to direct work to top performing employees, the burden should be shared across all employees or make decisions more quickly to drive results.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lavine, Lofgren, Morris & Engelberg in September 2011.

    Interview

I was invited to the Office Tour after sending in my resume. I received a call inviting me to an interview about a week after the tour. The interview was with a Partner and somewhat informal, more of a get-to-know-you. We went over my education experience, work experience, and why I was interested in public accounting and tax.
