    Forward looking leadership with a solid plan in place.

    Cons

    Many people have worked for the company for 20+ years, and are not always able to keep up with the progress the leadership wants to implement.

    Advice to Management

    Loyalty should be rewarded, but senior employees should be expected to perform in the same, if not greater capacity, than newer employees. Just because someone has done the same job for 20 years does not make that job indispensable.

    I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Lawson Products (New York, NY) in June 2017.

    Interview

    Initial phone interview. Met with distract manager and regional manager in hotel conference room. Did a ride day with sales rep. Was called next day with job offer. Overall the process was smooth and informal.
