Mission: Lazard’s purpose is to serve clients. From our beginning, this basic premise has shaped our culture and structure.

Partnering globally makes us stronger. By working together across borders, we leverage Lazard’s global network of relationships to achieve extraordinary results for clients.

I worked at Lazard full-time (More than 3 years)
There is no better place to be if you want to work on M&A, corporate finance, and strategic advisory for the world's most demanding and prestigious clients.
Long hours and pay has been slightly below peers in recent years.
Advice to Management
Continue to focus on being the leading provider of independent advice, but that can only be sustained if top talent is nurtured and allowed to rise through the ranks. Focus on rewarding and paying more attention to your best employees In this day and age, the prestige and cachet of the firm is no longer sufficient to retain top talent. Career development, compensation, and genuine interest in developing a work-life balance culture is key.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Lazard (New York, NY).
Had to send my CV and Cover letter to the Graduate Recruitment Team. The cover letter had to answer 2 questions with 3 parts each. Received an offer for a one-way video interview the day after.
