I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Learning A-Z (Ann Arbor, MI).

First, there was a phone interview. After that I was invited to the office for an in-person interview, where I was interviewed first by a manager, and then by two different groups of 2-3 engineers. The engineers asked technical questions, asked me to write some code, and talked to me about past projects I had completed and about some specifics of the languages I had used on those projects. The interview process was not stressful and I wasn't made to feel uncomfortable at any point. I was interviewed by actual engineers who asked good technical questions, although the whiteboard coding problems they gave were not very advanced. Overall I was very satisfied with the interview process, even though I didn't get the job. I thought everyone was friendly and fair in how they conducted the interview.
