    Pros

As a new employee, I've never been through an onboarding process as thorough, helpful and impactful as Lenati's. You get a Career Advisor, a person at your level to help you walk through the new processes, and countless offers from the employees to help you if you're stuck or just want to learn more.

This place has a well-defined culture of inclusiveness, camaraderie and hard work, and everyone from the CEO to the analysts embody that. And for the actual work, you get to solve some of the biggest problems for large clients, lead the industry, and learn from those around you everyday. It's exciting.

    Cons

The company is growing a lot (which is a good problem!), and the leadership team has been thinking of the best ways to structure the team and manage that. But so far the communication has always been very open.

    Advice to Management

Even with the firm growing, keep emphasizing how important the relationships are between the employees, their managers, and getting to know everyone in the office.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at Lenati in June 2016.

    Interview

I applied online. HR contacted me by email the next day to confirm my location (yes, I was willing to relocate to Seattle), but then waited a full month to move forward to a phone screen. I competed an Excel skills self-assessment. Phone interviews with a manager and the Chief People Officer. Over the next couple of months, I had phone interviews with 6 or so additional people. Finally, HR emailed me to set up a quick call to deliver the news: They had just recently promoted some people to Engagement Manager, so they were only hiring at the Consultant level. Felt like this was a classic consulting firm bait-and-switch, after all the time I invested in what appears to be a great firm with smart people doing interesting work. Why even talk to me about the Manager role if there wasn't any need forecasted? Why drag out interviews over 4 months for a non-leadership position? The pay for the Consultant role was well below what I was making, even before accounting for Seattle's the cost of living difference, so coming in at a lower level wasn't a viable option.
