I worked at Lenders Asset Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great co-workers, "Family" environment, Management team, Personal and professional growth opportunities.

    Cons

Office location changed which drastically impacted work commute. No consideration of previously approved arrangements created a negative impact on workers and morale.

    Advice to Management

Try to understand specific individual needs and recognize talent and abilities, rather than taking a inflexible stance. Better to retain a valuable employee than lose them.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lenders Asset Management in October 2010.

    Interview

The interview process is somewhat intense. They will grill you with questions and they will ask questions to see if you will fit the company culture. They want a hard workernthat can wear multiple hats and that has a great attitude. They have a unique family type culture - thus need to have a personality, humor and a work hard play hard mentality.

You are usually interviewed by more than one person and meet other people before decision is made.

    Interview Questions

    • When they gave you a scenario and asked what you would do ie: if you are juggling multiple projects and all are top priority how do you go about deciding what to do first?   Answer Question

    Negotiation

I was not able to negotiate anything. They make it seem like it is an absolute privilege to work there and to take what you are offered.
