Our Internship program seeks incoming college juniors and seniors interested in developing on-the-job skills for future opportunities. Leprino Foods interns focus on special assignments with an end-of-program capstone presentation with recommendations to our senior leadership team.

Qualities of a Leprino Foods Intern

  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Manufacturing Management, Business Management, Dairy Science, Food Science, Dairy Manufacturing, Food Engineering, or a closely related field, from an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Has a desire and willingness to work in a production environment on any schedule/shift
  • Is interested in making an immediate contribution to our team
  • Is open to summer relocation and geographically flexible


We leverage your unique skills and experiences.

Our Military Leadership Trainee Program is designed for recently transitioned military veterans who are interested in joining our organization in one of our production facilities across the U.S. We’re seeking former officers and NCOs with leadership experience, a technical/mechanical aptitude and a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

What We Offer in Return

You’ll receive a competitive starting salary and annual bonus during the 6- to 12-month program, plus a promotional increase in pay upon completion. At the completion of your training program, you’ll be considered for a career with Leprino Foods, starting as a supervisor managing up to 40 individuals.

Qualities of a Leprino Military Leadership Trainee

  • Must be a recently transitioned military veteran
  • Has progressive leadership experience as an NCO or officer
  • Exhibits a technical/mechanical aptitude
  • Is open to relocation and geographically flexible for future assignments in California, Colorado, New Mexico, Michigan or New York

    I applied through other source. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Leprino Foods (Remus, MI) in October 2016.


    Spoke with corporate HR manager, which led to phone interview with local plant management. Invited to plant for tour and a series of interview, one group, a one-on-one, and then finished with plant manager and HR manager. The initial phone interviews were very easygoing, seemed they were trying to get an idea of my personality, to determine if I would be a good fit with their culture.
    The on-site interviews were much more structured, the group interview was conducted by folks who were doing jobs similar to the one I was applying for. The one-on-one was by a the supervisor I would ultimately work for, and the last was by the plant manager and the plant HR manager. All seemed to be focused on my prior experience in related field, and how I dealt with common issues. It was about a 4 hour interview/tour.

    I was able to negotiate the starting salary. Very positive.
