I spent a very enjoyable 8 years working for and more importantly with Leslie Jordan. I think that Leslie is drawn to the good side of people when she meets them, and I always felt like she was there to prompt and encourage me . She tends to want to work directly with all her employees from management to the recent new hire. She has a generous soul, and rewards hard work with a very nice bonus program. In my case I feel she went above and beyond with her generosity To be fair, the cons on here are generally short term employees with an axe to grind. Almost all the department heads and many of the employees have been there 8, 10, 14 or more years. A couple employees worked for Leslie for 20 plus years, or until retirement.

Advice to Management
Take care of Leslie and she WILL take care of you.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Leslie Jordan Apparel Design & Mfg. Co. (Portland, OR) in May 2016.
The process starts with a phone interview. Next you can meet with a dept. manager, Leslie and another person or 2 from the relevant department. If a job is offered, there is an opportunity to sit with the department and assess the job before making a decision.
Reasons for Declining
I didn't end up accepting the position because I am contract with another company, but I really liked the production department and Leslie was very reasonable during negotiations. I saw a couple of not great reviews which made me nervous, but in person I felt very comfortable with the company. I advise that you take the time to talk to everyone, and go in to sit with the team and make a decision from there. It is very fast paced and hands on and a great way to learn a lot.
