I worked at Let's Dish part-time (More than 3 years)
Great co-workers, good customers, flexible schedule, great employee discount, and the work was easy.
Assistant managers have no real store management responsibility, but are merely key holders and the pay low pay reflects this. Hours were often cut by manager so that she could get a bonus, leaving a large task load for the remaining employees, store manager never worked after 4 pm on weekdays and not at all on weekends, so many employees only met her at the interview and never again after that.
Advice to Management
Store managers should be required to work a certain number of evening or weekend shifts to keep in touch with all employees, and should be more available for month end take downs.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Let's Dish (Lutherville Timonium, MD) in March 2013.
They let you shadow and conduct an informal interview to best get to know you and learn how you would work with the current employees and customers alike. Let's Dish is a great company filled with great people and the interview reflected this. The interview was worthwhile and I would definitely recommend anyone to interview with Let's Dish to further their career.
