I have been working at Leviton full-time (More than 3 years)
I enjoy doing what I do here at Leviton.
So much to learn when it come to the machines and size of the plant means there are a lot of them.
Mixture of old and new electronics makes it challenging and fun learn
Management does not care about employers value
New rules come out every other week
The place is monitored and watching you all the time
Pay is just okay
Hours vary, one week they are working you to death with 50 to 60 hours then the next week you are barely working 40.
Advice to Management
Listen and take note from your employers because before you know it they'll be seeking jobs elsewhere. I know jobs can always be replaced but people who have been here more than 3 decades; that knowledge is hard to regain.
I applied online. I interviewed at Leviton (Melville, NY) in April 2017.
Interview with HR, and then two from the Engineering Test lab, HR was looking for strengths and reasons to hire. Test lab Director was looking for technical skills and seeing where you stand Engineering wise. Didn't get any response yet and it's been 15 days. Waiting for a response still. Very anxious.
