There's never been a more exciting time to join the LexisNexis Legal & Professional team.
Our goal is to revolutionize the way customers in legal, corporate, tax, government, academic and non-profit organizations work by combining a deep understanding of their needs, emerging technologies and powerful content and software.
Our teams are developing and delivering what was once unimaginable through the use of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, the Cloud and Open Source tools.
As a team and in collaboration with customers and key actors, we’re in a unique position to transform the industry through information, technology and analytics while having a powerful, positive impact on society by advancing the rule of law.
Through the engineering of information, we're:
As rule of law increases in any given country, access to decent work and economic growth tends to rise, families are able to lift themselves out of poverty, innovation and infrastructure are stimulated, health and well-being increase, and there are reduced inequalities and acts of violence, including improvement in gender equality. See our Rule of Law Impact Tracker and read more here.
The rule of law is the foundation for the development of peaceful, equitable and prosperous societies. We believe that for the rule of law to be effective, there must be equality under the law, transparency of law, an independent judiciary and access to legal remedy.
Yet, about half of the world’s population live outside the shelter of the law. That’s 4 billion people struggling for their basic, human rights on a daily basis.
At LexisNexis Legal & Professional, our underlying purpose as a business is to advance the rule of law around the world. We’re working to bring the percentage of people living outside the umbrella protection of the rule of law down to zero through our day-to-day business operations, products and services, and actions as a corporate citizen.
This work is led through the efforts and creativity of our 10,000 people and in collaboration with customers and stakeholders in law firms, courts, businesses, governments, academia, associations, NGOs and the United Nations. Because progress is possible when we join together.
More than 10,000 employees in over 175 countries across 6 continents make up our global organization. We value people of all ages, cultures, races, religions, nationalities and ethnicities regardless of gender identity and/or expression of sexual orientation. Diverse people and ideas create strength for our business and customers. We are committed to promoting a diverse workforce and strive to create a work environment that respects individuals and their contributions while fostering innovation.
LexisNexis network groups further the company’s efforts to build an inclusive culture that embraces diversity. Our Women’s, African American, Multicultural, Veterans, and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender networks advance the community, diversity and mentorship.

I have been working at LexisNexis Legal & Professional part-time
Transferable Experience, Network Opportunities, Flexible Hours
Pay is a bit low
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LexisNexis Legal & Professional (Dayton, OH) in October 2017.
Casual, however in-depth questions. Hour long session, with a tour, and job shadow. They asked questions about my sales experience. They asked about the sales process. I was able to tour the entire place and received a gift after my interview. The job shadow was calm and casual. The sales reps didn't seem very busy and the woman I shadowed said it was not a hard position. And that pay starts out at $26k.
